Bill Hurley businessman President Memory Savers Calgary NW

Bill Hurley is the Founder and President of MEMORY SAVERS, a privately-owned scanning company nestled in the Calgary Northwest community of Citadel.

Bill is a graduate of William Aberhart High School. He also completed certification at the Inclusive Post-Secondary Education Society of Alberta. In 2008, after finishing a business course at the University of Calgary, Bill was inspired to create MEMORY SAVERS, a company that would combine his passion for technology and his strong family values

Wild Bill Dinos Down Syndrome Successful Scanning Business

A born and raised Calgarian, Bill is a HUGE sports enthusiast. For the past 23 years, he has worked as volunteer equipment manager to U of C's basketball team, the Dinos. He also performs the YMCA half-time dance during games. "WILD BILL"--his preferred nickname--is renown for his positivity, unwavering spirit and electric dance moves. He recently received the prestigious Murray Fraser Community Service Award for his service to the Dinos, which was captured by CBC. 

In 2023, Bill broke three powerlifting records in Canada under the generic category. He has also competed in floor hockey and basketball for the Special Olympics. 

 

Bill is also a dedicated employee at Walmart and was recently honoured for his 20 years of service. He possesses a strong work ethic and has made many friends through his jobs. His greatest joy is helping other people and making them laugh and smile.
