
ABOUT BILL

Bill Hurley is the Founder and President of Memory Savers, a privately-owned scanning company nestled in the Calgary Northwest community of Citadel.
Bill is a graduate of William Aberhart High School. He also completed certification at the Inclusive Post-Secondary Education Society of Alberta. In 2008, after finishing a business course at the University of Calgary, Bill was inspired to create Memory Savers, a company that would combine his passion for technology and his strong family values.
Born and raised in Calgary, Bill is a huge sports fan and has volunteered with the U of C Dinos basketball team for 23 years. Known as “Wild Bill,” he’s loved for his positivity, energy, and halftime YMCA dances. He recently received the Murray Fraser Community Service Award, which was featured by CBC.
In 2023, Bill broke three Canadian powerlifting records and has also competed in Special Olympics floor hockey and basketball.
He has worked at Walmart for 20 years and was recently recognized for his dedication and service. Bill is known for his strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to make people laugh and smile.
