NEGATIVE STRIPS
PHOTOS
Rest assured that while we work with your photos, they're handled with great respect and care at all times.
Your photos will be scanned at up to 1200 dpi onto either a CD (free), or a memory stick (extra charge). Each photo scanned costs 25 cents and rotation and cropping is included. Competitive discounts are available for larger orders, please enquire.
Please have your photos loose (not in albums) when you place your order.
*Photos can be scanned in specific order and in labelled folders/subfolders upon request.
SLIDES
All of your 35 mm slides will be carefully handled from start to finish. Before being scanned, they will first be cleaned using compressed air. We then use a high-end EPSON scanner (up to 4000 dpi) to produce top-quality digital images from your slides, whether they're colour or black and white.
The cost for slides is 48 cents per image. Competitive discounts are available for larger orders, please enquire. All pricing includes the cropping and rotation of images as well as Digital ICE (Image Correction and Enhancement) on images that still look scratched or dirty after cleaning. Oftentimes, Digital ICE can "fill in the gaps" where dust and/or scratches appeared on scanned images.
NEGATIVES
Your negative strips are professionally scanned at high resolution to preserve every detail and converted into high-quality digital images. Scanned files can be saved to a USB memory stick (additional charge) or to your own USB if you provide one. Each negative strip is scanned for $1.00 per strip, with each strip typically containing 4 frames.
Please keep your negative strips organized in the order you'd like them scanned. If you'd like your files saved into labelled folders or in a specific order, we're happy to do so upon request.
Damaged or delicate negatives are assessed individually to ensure they can be scanned safely.
